Financial Need
The cost of college is a financial burden to most families. Accordingly, we ask that applicants demonstrate financial need by submitting:

  • A copy of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Student Aid Report (SAR), or a recent Financial Aid Award Letter from your institution; and/or
  • A short statement (250 – 300 words) describing any circumstances that may affect you or your family’s ability to pay for college. Examples include loss of employment, death of a parent, medical expenses, or having other siblings in college. This information is important during the application evaluation process, and we ask that applicants be as specific as possible.
